We are committed to protecting the privacy of students, teachers, parents, and school administrators in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and Google Play Developer Policies.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
1. Information We Collect
To provide our educational and administrative services, we collect the following types of information (which are primarily provided by teachers and school administrators and are only visible to authorized personnel within your specific school):
- Personal Identification Information: Name, email address, phone number, and physical address.
- Academic and Institutional Data: Student roll numbers, classes, sections, attendance records, exam scores, and fee payment status.
- Authentication Data: Usernames and passwords (stored securely via hashing).
- Location Data: Device location is only accessed temporarily if the school uses the geo-based attendance feature to verify check-in locations. We do not track or store continuous location data.
- Media: Profile pictures or document uploads (e.g., assignment submissions, payment screenshots) if provided.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your data is strictly used for educational and administrative purposes:
- To facilitate school administration (e.g., attendance tracking, fee management, academic grading).
- To authenticate users and secure accounts across the mobile app and web portal.
- To communicate important updates, announcements, and fee reminders.
- To diagnose technical issues and improve app performance.
3. How We Share Your Information
We only share information under the following limited circumstances:
- Within your Educational Institution: Teachers, principals, and administrative staff can view student data as required to perform their duties.
- Service Providers: We use secure third-party hosting (e.g., cloud servers) to store data. These providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government regulation.
Note: We absolutely do not share or sell personal data to marketing agencies or data brokers.
4. Data Retention and Deletion (Your Rights & Play Store Policy)
We retain your personal data only as long as your school maintains an active account with us or as required by law for financial auditing.
How to Request Account & Data Deletion:
In compliance with Google Play's Data Safety requirements and the DPDP Act 2023, you have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated personal data.
- Students/Parents/Teachers: Please contact your school's Principal or Administrator. The school admin can delete your profile directly from the administrative dashboard, which permanently removes your personal data from our active systems. Alternatively, email our Grievance Officer below.
- School Administrators: You may request the termination of your school's account and the complete purge of all associated institutional data by contacting our Grievance Officer.
5. Data Security
We implement robust, industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
- Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/SSL).
- Secure password hashing algorithms.
- Role-based access control (RBAC) ensuring users only see data relevant to their role.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is designed for use by educational institutions. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 18 without the authorization of the educational institution acting as Data Fiduciary. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information without proper authorization, please contact us so we can promptly delete it.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify school administrators of any material changes via the platform. Continued use of the App after changes are published constitutes acceptance.
